Not common 3 1/4" long by 1 1/2" wide steel bullnose chariot plane by E. Preston & Sons of Birmingham (not stamped). Gunmetal shaped bridge with nice shape rosewood wedge and original single solid parallel iron. Fine mouth. Although not stamped (which is not unusual for these) this is definitely a Preston plane. Good clean condition.
