Good early 1900's Stanley USA No. 4 low knob smoothing plane. Pre 1910 as it has the 2 1902 patents on the base but not the 1910 one. Nice original rosewood fittings with no cracks or damage and good length original 1892 patent blade. Most of the original black japanning remains.

Gunmetal lever cap is unusual in the fact that there is no A6 stamped in the centre as normal. Stunning rosewood infill with all its original lacquer. 1922 patent adjuster. Near full length original thick parallel Norris iron and backing iron. There is slight pitting to the top of the iron which would suggest to me that the metal body of the plane may have been professionally cleaned. ...

Stanley england No. 5 1/2 large size jck plane in well used but still OK condition. Black japanning is a bit ropey inside. Lacquered beech handles are in good condition with no cracks or damage and has a good length original blade. Pefectly usable plane at a good price.

Fine basically unused Acorn, England No. 4 1/2 heavy large smoothing plane. All the original red finish with golden beech handles with original transfer and full length original blade. The handle bears the label CHAPMAN TOOLS by STANLEY which indicates this plane was produced shortly after Stanley took over Acorn in the last 1930's. Slight pitting to the sole otherwise like new.

Hardly used set of four large size sow-back carving gouges by J. B. Addis & Sons of Sheffield with matching turned beech hndles and copper ferrules. Minor discolouration to the blades will sharpen out no problem. I am not sure any of them have ever been used. They are all 1" wide but of different curves.

Well used but still perfectly OK Norris of London No. 25 cast metal bullnose plane. 1 1/8" wide. All original. Nice rosewood wedge with original Norris London blade of which there is 1/4" left. Mouth is a bit worn. Metal is clean. BARGAIN !!!!
