This rare 19th Century No. 53 flat Spokeshave by Stanley USA arrives in excellent condition. The spokeshave comes in an early solid cast design with an adjustable throat for greater accuracy and handling. There is an old replacement Stanley (sweetheart) blade attached, which is slightly pitted but still in good working order. Possible to replace at owners discretion if preferred. This vintage spokeshave is in good condition for its age but does lack much of its original finish.    Why use a s...
