Well used early Norris of London 14 1/2" long dovetailed steel panel plane. This is not one for the purist but is a good one for the craftsman. Gunmetal lever cap with original dark rosewood infill with fully enclosed rear handle. Old replacement blade by Colhoun & Cadman of Sheffield is cast steel. There is minor pitting to the metal predominantly to the sole and the rear handle has a couple of old repairs. Still a very good plane for the user. Early 1900's. 2 1/2" wide blade.
