FINE & RARE late 19th to early 20th century patented Stanley Rule & Level Co. Bedrock. USA No. 5 1/2 C CORRUGATED sole jack plane in remarkably good condition for its age. I think this is probably a TYPE 3 model. 1895 patent to the base at the back. It retains most of its original black japanning inside. Gorgeous original rosewood fittings with low front knob with no cracks or damage to either. Full length what is probably the original blade but I think it has been re-tipped some time...
